Jeremy Rogers - Racing Manager
Jeremy joined the stable in 2010 as Racing Manager. Jeremy is a racing enthusiast who’s previous background was with Waikato Stud in New Zealand as Public Relations Manager. Jeremy’s background and passion for racing has been a great asset to the stable. Jeremy keeps all owners up to date with the progress of their horse and this allows Darren to focus more on training the horses. Jeremy can be contacted at anytime.

Michael Leonard - Financial Manager
Mick is our financial guru, he has previously owned his own accounting firm in Ballarat. Mick plays an integral part in the financial running of Forest Lodge. Mick has his own trainer’s license and operates Millwater Agistment Farm at Dunnstown. Mick is often seen around the stables panicking about something minor. It’ll be Ok Mick.

Denita Cox – Office Administrator
Denita joined the office in 2007, however has recently had a 12 month stint working with other trainers in Melbourne to further her knowledge, returning in October 2011. Denita is always available to help with an account or ownership query. You can often see her strapping at the races as well.

Luke Archibald – Account Manager
Luke is the most recent addition to the office and plays a vital role in accumulating and compiling account information. Luke also works part-time as a finishing judge for Harness Racing Victoria. He is more than happy to assist with any account enquiry.

Angela Taylor-Moy – Foreperson
Angela has been a part of Forest Lodge for some time now, shifting from Stawell to Ballarat to continue her association with the stable. Angela is a key track rider and always puts the horses needs and requirements first. She is often seen strapping at the metropolitan races. Angela also holds her own trainer’s license.
Brian Davidge – Horse Breaker
Brian commenced breaking in horses for the stable in 2008. Brian breaks in a lot of our horses and rides the horses that maybe proving difficult on the training track. Brian has represented Victoria and the Northern Territory in Polocrosse. The skills he has to deal with young horses is a huge asset to Forest Lodge.

Andrew Cust – Veterinarian
Since joining the Ballarat Veterinary Practice Andrew has been the No 1 vet for Forest Lodge. Andrew’s previous experience includes working with the Macau Jockey Club, Racing Victoria & Harness Racing Victoria. Andrew is 100% dedicated to making sure the horses are healthy and sound prior to racing.

Gareth Trope – Veterinarian
Gareth is the go to vet if Andrew is away or unavailable. Gareth joined the Ballarat Vet Practice in April 2010 and has a passion for lameness investigation, diagnostic imaging and orthopaedic surgery.
